My Savior He did die for you,
He shed His blood for all,
He hung upon the cross of shame
To remedy the fall.
They laid Him in a garden tomb
With linen and perfume,
They thought it was my Savior’s doom,
But God changed it to a womb.
He rose triumphant from that grave,
Death had no victory,
He lives today and wants to save
All those who will believe.
My Savior’s name is Jesus Christ,
My friend, oh won’t you see,
You must accept the Son of God
To live eternally!
